Funding

Funding is no longer available for the MOAC MSc & PhD in Mathematical Biology and Biophysical Chemistry, however a new MSc + PhD in Molecular Analytical Science is available at the new MAS CDT with EPSRC funding for UK students.

MSc in Chemistry with Scientific Writing

1 year MSc programme
Provides students with new scientific writing skills
Advanced scientific training through various Chemistry modules
Includes research project in the Department of Chemistry

MSc in Scientific Research and Communication

1 year MSc programme
Provides students with new scientific writing skills
Advanced scientific training through various modules from the Faculty of Science
Includes research project in a university department from the Faculty of Science

Postgraduate Certificate in Transferable Skills

All MOAC PhD students take the PG Certificate in Transferable Skills which consists of 6 modules taken over 3 years. One of these will concentrate on the skills that you should be building up during your routine work as a research student. The other will usually be based on a three-day residential course with some follow-up activities.
