Prizes and Awards

5th annual conference for users of Affymetrix microarray technologies, held at the John Innes Centre in Norwich. Delegates were invited to prepare poster presentations. My poster, which is available below, was awarded the prize for "Best Scientific Content":

  • Biology Symposium, May 2007

All third year PhD students on the MOAC course are expected to give a presentation at the annual Symposium for their respective departments. This year, I gave a presentation at the annual Biology Symposium, which won a prize as one of the top 5 presentations at the event.
Presentation (Powerpoint Presentation) I entered my MOAC website into the University of Warwick ePortfolio competition, which rated student websites on three criteria; content, networking and visual impact. My site was highly commended with a score of 23/30 over the three criteria.
