Warwick celebrates its Highly Cited Researchers
Highly Cited Researchers are those whose publications are most often cited in academic journals that rank in the top 1% by citations for field and year. Of the world’s scientists and social scientists, Highly Cited Researchers are one in 1,000.
From Warwick, the following academics have been named on this year’s list:
- Yunfei Chen, formerly from the School of Engineering
- Sophie Staniszewska, Warwick Medical School
- Peng Wang, Department of Physics
- Dieter Wolke, Psychology and Warwick Medical School
- Jerry P. Nolan, Warwick Medical School
David Pendlebury, Head of Research Analysis at the Institute for Scientific Information at Clarivate said: “The Highly Cited Researchers list identifies and celebrates exceptional individual researchers at The University of Warwick whose significant and broad influence in their fields translates to impact in their research community and innovations that make the world healthier, more sustainable and more secure.
