Water on terrestrial planets

An interesting new paper published today on the ArXiV preprint server (ArXiV:1511.04444) discusses the amount of water needed for life to flourish on terrestrial planets. The paper, by Nicolas Cowan at McGill University, was presented at the Comparative Climates of Terrestrial Planets II conference earlier this year.
