Research is carried out by three distinctive but cross-disciplinary groups:

Health and wellbeing across the lifespan, with an emphasis on translating research into clinical practice and health policy. |

Cognitive factors involved in the successful mastery of language and learning, and applying the language research to the classroom. |
With the latest facilities including our Driving Simulator we carry out:
- field experiments
- large longitudinal epidemiological studies
- experimental psychology
- cognitive research
- quantitative and qualitative research
- mathematical modelling including the use of network analyses, statistical bootstrapping, and computational simulations.
