Now recruiting final participants! (UK only, aged 18-65 with chronic pain)

Due to finish recruitment 31st May 2023

We are looking for volunteers to take part in our lab-based study at the University of Warwick Sleep & Pain Lab. You will receive a £20 Amazon voucher for participating!

The study involves:

  • Traveling to the University of Warwick Campus (Coventry) for a test session that will last approximately 2.5 hours.
  • You will be asked to write a separate paragraph about 3 experiences: a time you felt defeated, a time you felt victorious despite the pain, and a neutral memory.
  • During the experiment, we will measure your heart rate and ask you to fill out some short questionnaires. We will also take measures to assess your pain threshold and tolerance.

Want to know more? More details can be found in the Participant Information Leaflet
