Physics Work Experience
The Department of Physics offers a small number of work experience placements in the Easter vacation each year for students in Years 10-12.
The work experience placement will provide you with a broad insight into physics and what it would be like to work in a busy university physics department. You will spend time with our highly skilled research and technical staff learning about real-life physics problems and working on exciting research projects.
XMaS Scientist Experience
Students will experience what life might be like as an international research scientist, visiting the European Synchrotron Radiation Facility (ESRF) in Grenoble, to be shown around the beamlines by real-life female scientists, as well as taking part in the Synchrotron@School. Warwick Christmas Lectures
The annual Warwick Christmas Lectures where scientists leave their labs and entertain audiences. Expect a fun-filled evening packed with festive cheer, laughter and science for the whole family to enjoy. Dates for 2026 to be announced soon!
