Developing Your Analytical Mindset

We are delighted to announce our training event, Developing Your Analytical Mindset, taking place at Warwick University, 22-23 May 2025.

Obtaining reliable measurement results doesn’t happen by accident. There are many issues that scientists need to consider to ensure that their results are fit for purpose. After all, the consequences of getting it wrong can be significant! Only with reliable data can technologies develop and/or transition from the laboratory to the marketplace.

This two-day event, organised by organised by CAMS and Warwick Analytical Science Centre (WASC), is designed to provide participants with comprehensive knowledge and practical skills in instrument qualification, method development, validation, and quality control. This course offers a unique opportunity to learn from industry experts, engage in hands-on practical sessions, and network with peers and professionals. Attendees will gain valuable insights into ensuring valid analytical results, understanding measurement uncertainty, and improving laboratory practices.

It will also provide opportunities to discuss career progression routes, have a CV health-check and network with peers and academia and industry professionals.

Join us on this free 2-day course to learn about the key concepts of analytical science and to understand some of the issues laboratories need to address to ensure the reliability of measurement data. Please see full agenda below:
