Vacation School 2016: Timetable (provisional)

Participants are registered either for the whole week, or for all sessions from Monday afternoon onwards. If you do not remember what you registered for, please check your confirmation email (or, failing that, please ask Eleanor Ingram <wdsi dot enquiries at warwick dot ac dot uk>).

Light refreshements are available in the short break within each morning/afternoon session. Participants should make their own arrangements for lunch.

All sessions are in the Computer Science building except for some of the Wednesday sessions.

Monday 26 September

Morning: Introduction to R (only for those who have registered for it)

  • 0930 - 1045: Introduction to R (Heather Turner)
  • 1045 - 1115: refreshments
  • 1115 - 1230: Lab session 0 (Heather Turner, David Firth and David Selby)
Afternoon:
  • 1315 - 1330: Further arrivals and registration (those not taking the morning Intro session)
  • 1330 - 1430: Organising data and code (Heather Turner)
  • 1430 - 1500: refreshments
  • 1500 - 1600: Lab session 1 (Heather Turner, David Firth and David Selby)

Tuesday 27 September

Morning:
