Mitigating Circumstances
If you had circumstances during your period of study that impacted on your studies, you can declare these to the Board of Examiners, in order to request the waiving of late penalties etc. Please do not use this process to request an extension to your assignment.
In order to submit mitigation to the Board of Examiners:
- Go to Tabula > My Student Profile.
- Click the Personal circumstances page link. You will be able to view existing mitigating circumstances submissions or declare new mitigating circumstances here.
Once you have submitted mitigation, your situation and evidence will be considered by the Board of Examiners when they next meet. Please note that there may therefore be a delay before you receive notification of the outcome of your mitigating circumstances.
