Role of Supply Chain Analytics in the Digital Age (in conjunction with Concentra)
Visualising supply chains and quantifying the benefits of taking action to improve performance has been a significant challenge for businesses. Concentra’s SupplyVue is a next generation supply chain analytics tool, which allows businesses to do just that, creating actionable insights to improve end to end supply chain performance. This event showcased our new SupplyVue demonstrator, allowing attendees to explore its capabilities and how it may benefit their supply chain. The session included case studies from companies who have used SupplyVue to generate business benefit.

Andy Birtwistle joined Concentra, a data analytics company, as Director, Supply Chain Practice. He has 25 years of experience as a Supply Chain Manager and change agent in the oil, tobacco, pharmaceutical, Hi-tech and FMCG sectors.
He has a track record of driving and delivering strategic and operational improvement in global organisations. His most recent roles have included leading the development of European and Global Operating Models for Operations, the global implementation of APO and SAP BI, and the design and delivery of a global supply chain analytics capability which won the 2014 Supply Chain Excellence award for technology.
Andy is a Chartered Accountant and has a BSc in Mathematics and Computer Science from the University of Nottingham

Professor Jan Godsell joined WMG in October 2013 from her prior position of Senior Lecturer at Cranfield University School of Management.
Professor Godsell's career has been split between both industry and academia. She joined the faculty of Cranfield in 2001, following the completion of her Executive MBA there. She also completed her PhD at Cranfield, researching the development of a customer responsive supply chain.
Prior to her return to academia, Professor Godsell developed a successful career within industry, beginning at ICI/Zeneca Pharmaceuticals. Following this, she worked up to senior management level at Dyson, in both Supply Chain and Operations Management functions. At Dyson, she undertook a number of operational and process improvement roles within R&D, customer logistics, purchasing and manufacturing.
Professor Godsell is a Chartered Engineer and Member of the IMechE. She is on the board and scientific committee of EurOMA (European Operations Management Association), the cabinet of the UK roundtable of CSCMP (Council of Supply Chain Management Professionals) and the manufacturing steering committee of the IMechE.She is on the editorial board of 3 journals, including the International Journal of Operations and Production Management, and she is an advocate for improving the uptake of STEM subjects by school children.

Harry Trevor-Jones read Engineering Science at Oxford University, with a focus on Mechanical and Information Engineering. He has since worked at the MOD as a Naval Architect for the Astute Class submarine project, and later at Dyson as an R&D engineer. In both cases he used modelling and statistical techniques to evaluate and improve system performance. Since completing an MBA in 2017, Harry is now working as Innovation Manager at Lowe and Fletcher, a West-Midlands based manufacturer of mechanical and electronic locking systems. |
Kim Lloyd is EMEA Director, SupplyVue Chain at Concentra Analytics.She has 25 years of experience as a Supply Chain Manager and change agent in Hi-tech and FMCG sectors. She has a proven track record of driving and delivering strategic and operational improvement in global organisations.
She has worked as a country level Supply Chain Manager, Country and Regional planning manager and Global Supply Chain Manager for the customisation business in P&G.
Her most recent roles have included leading the design and implementation of regional planning centres at P&G. Leading the Customisation initial design input for the global supply chain synchronisation project at P&G. Finally as the UK/I Supply Chain Director at Philips lighting, Kim was responsible for delivering significant supply chain improvements in Cost, service and Inventory.
Kim is also an Organisation Design expert who has a BEng & BCom from the University of Birmingham.
