The DEAR Centre is very pleased to announce that Warwick’s Institute for Advanced Study (IAS) has awarded DEAR a grant of £5000 for the forthcoming academic year 2026-27.

The IAS is dedicated to advancing new research ideas that shape the future of knowledge with a core mission of championing interdisciplinary and international research. By supporting intellectually ambitious projects and activities it is hoped to bring together diverse disciplinary perspectives, promote cross-border collaboration, and contribute to the advancement of knowledge, positioning Warwick as a global leader in interdisciplinary research excellence.

In the context of the IAS’ goals, it is superb that the DEAR Centre’s work has been recognised in this way. The grant will form a valuable component in supporting the Centre’s current portfolio of projects as well as allowing the Centre to refine and confirm its forthcoming programme of work into 2027 and beyond.
