Dr. James Burford Elected as Trustee of UKCGE
We are delighted to share that Dr James Burford, Associate Professor at the University of Warwick and co-founder of the Doctoral Education and Academia Research (DEAR) Centre, has been elected as a Trustee of the UK Council for Graduate Education (UKCGE) for a three-year term.
The UKCGE is the national representative body for postgraduate education and research, supporting strategic leadership and policy development across the sector. It represents over 90% of UK postgraduate research provision and more than 85% of taught postgraduate programs.
As a UKCGE Trustee, Dr Burford will bring his expertise in the field of doctoral education to support and shape national postgraduate education policy.
