We are delighted to welcome Professor Paul Warmington as a Visiting Professor at the Doctoral Education and Academia Research Centre (DEAR) and Education Studies (ES) in SELCS. His appointment, starting on 1st March 2025 for a three-year term, will strengthen our research community and further enrich our projects and activities.

Professor Warmington is an esteemed scholar with a distinguished career in education research, particularly in the areas of social justice, critical race studies and educational politics. He will be actively contributing to an ongoing research project hosted by DEAR and ES and will be involved in future collaborations, mentoring doctoral students, and supporting colleagues across the department.

His honorary professorship will facilitate his engagement with DEAR and ES, ensuring that his expertise continues to shape and support our research initiatives.
