Education Studies Postgraduate Research Conference 2022

Header
The 9th Education Studies PGR Conference offers a dynamic environment for postgraduate research (PGR) students to showcase and discuss their research. The conference is open to research postgraduates at all stages of their programme, from a variety of disciplines, and from all universities, whose research connects with education in its broadest sense.
This year's conference keynote programme theme is "Education, Conflict and Displacement". However, presenters are encouraged to submit abstracts irrespective of their relevance to this theme. We are happy to accept submissions that are related to any of the sub-themes listed on this page. We invite you to consider how your research makes a difference - in theory, professional practice , methodology, and other illuminating perspectives. There will be renowned keynote speakersLink opens in a new window, abstract presentations, discussions, and question-and-answer sessions. This year, several academic researchers will be attending, offering feedback and taking part in the plenary panel.
This is an online event that will take place over two half-days (22nd & 23rd April) and attendance is open to taught or research postgraduates as well as the broader academic community. For postgraduates who aim to present at the conference, abstracts should be submittedLink opens in a new window by 21st March 2022. We would like to note that we are paying particular attention to equality and diversity issues at this conference, and we are using evidence-based guidance to produce an inclusive conference, within our means. Presentations could be based on your literature review, theoretical framework and/or methodology if you are still at an early stage of the process.
The conference is FREE to attend. We encourage submissions by all PGRs and those who have not presented at a conference before. We are happy to hear from participants if they have any concerns or need advice about presenting, or attending if there are any barriers to their participation.
