Dr Michael Wyness has two new funded research projects on Children’s Migration

Michael is working with Dr. Monireh Partovi on both of these projects. The first project is funded by Warwick’s Connecting Cultures GRP and entitled 'Identity and Resettlement Among Young Refugees in Coventry Schools'. The project is a continuation of earlier research on refugee children in Coventry. The particular focus here is the role of one Coventry school in supporting the identity formation of these young refugees.

The second project entitled, 'Iranian Migrant Children’s Identity Formation: Culture and Community Education' is funded by Warwick Ventures and runs from August 2019 until July 2020. It explores the role of supplementary schools in supporting second and third generation Iranian migrants’ identity formation.
