This part-time programme is designed specifically for practising teachers interested in developing innovative practice. We offer you access to our wide range of M-level modules in the department, giving you the ability to create a course tailored to your own professional needs and interests. For those with a recent PGCE, exemption from certain modules is available, and we also offer recognised specialisms within the MA dependent on your past experience and our module availability.
Our Doctorate in Education (EdD) programme provides post graduate students with the opportunity to acquire a professional doctorate that combines taught study in particular areas of interest with an extended piece of research.
Critically analysing Education in a fast-changing globalised world, the BA (Hons) Education Studies will introduce you to creative and forward-thinking approaches to teaching and learning. It will also allow you to develop your understanding of contemporary educational policy at both global and local levels, whilst exploring the background to the history and development of education.
