Current PhD in Education

Why did you choose to study this course at the University of Warwick?
Before applying to a university to study my PhD course, I did a lot of research and contacted key people who were considered leading authorities in this field. My aim was to learn from the best, and this is how I found my current PhD supervisor at the Centre for Education Studies.

What have been the highlights of the programme so far?
The programme is well structured, with support for any additional area that you might want to polish/improve, under the university’s Student Careers & Skills programmes. This makes a very encouraging environment for personal and professional development.

Would you recommend this course to a friend? Why?
I would recommend this course to others who are interested in experiencing a PhD - its ups and downs, without the fear of being left alone. Assistance is always just a step away, whether from your supervisor, or from peers. We have a strong PhD student community here who are very supportive of each other, friendly, and most importantly: we experience the same processes ourselves, so who is better in providing support, other than your peers?
