Jade Vidler

BA Childhood, Education and Society Finalist, 2012-2014

Why did you choose to study this course at the University of Warwick?
The thing that really swayed me towards studying at Warwick was its great reputation and prestigious status. The beautiful campus and friendly vibe also contributed towards my decision. I chose the course because I knew I wanted to pursue a career working with children, but knew I didn’t want to teach.

What have been the highlights of the programme so far?
Being heavily involved in the Education and Childhood Society has been a real highlight for me. This role has allowed me to build relationships with the department and help to make changes for students. The role has also opened doors socially, and I have integrated with lots of different types of people who also study in the department.

Would you recommend this course to a friend? Why?
With the way the department is developing and growing, I would recommend this course to friends. Warwick provides a great student experience, and you really get out what you put in.
