After teaching English in a Boys' school in Hong Kong for nine years, I decided to return to school and the decision to do an MA in Drama and Theatre Education at Warwick University is the best decision I have ever made in my life.
I enjoyed the course immensely and am very grateful for having worked with such professional and talented teachers and classmates who deepened my understanding of drama as a unique social art form. Confucius says, "I hear, I know. I see, I remember. I do, I understand." And the course curriculum does give us ample opportunities to "play", to unfold our creativity, imagination and spontaneity and also to perform. Fortunately enough, a group I worked with was also given the opportunities to present a performance at Cambridge University and International Conference Researching Drama and Theatre in Education in Exeter.
I met excellent people both inside and outside of Warwick who generously accorded me with their kindness and guidance and taught me how to devise my own play.
