Jennifer Kitchen (2009)

I came to Warwick as a drama graduate in 2008 convinced I wanted to work in arts education, but unsure where to start and hungry for more knowledge. This year went by in an absolute whirlwind, and I learnt more than I realised there was to know about drama and theatre education. The mix of theoretical work with observation and collaboration with other practitioners in the field, as well as the opportunity to develop your own teaching practice made the course unique and inspiring.

I can say without a shadow of a doubt it is the skills and the links between theory and practice I developed on this MA that allowed me to take up my current position of Practitioner in Residence of Southwark Community Projects at Shakespeare's Globe Education department - the largest in the country.
