Venue and directions

The Summer School will take place at Radcliffe, part of the University's conference facilities.

The University is easily reached by road and rail, with our nearest mainline train station being Coventry. The University is an approximate 15 minute taxi journey from the station, or alternative you can take public transport.

Our nearest airport is Birmingham International which is an approximate 40 minute taxi ride away. We suggest that any visitors arriving into London Heathrow travel to Coventry via the National Express Coach Service. This is a simple, direct service and the journey times is approximately 2 hours.

Schedule

The Summer School will commence on Sunday 25 September 2022 and will conclude Wednesday 28th September 2022.

Accommodation

For those delegates who have a full residential package, your accommodation will be at Radcliffe. All rooms are twin/double with en-suite and full English breakfast.

The University campus occupies over 290 hectares of land with lakes, woodland and green spaces for you to enjoy during your time with us. Other facilities on campus include the Warwick Arts Centre, a small supermarket, Post Office and banks. There is a brand new sports and wellness hub on campus which residential visitors can use for a small charge.

Those delegates who have a non-residential package, but who will require accommodation can visit this page for details of local accommodation which they can book themselves.

Prayer Facilities

There is a dedicated Prayer facility in the University of Warwick Chaplaincy as well as a multi-faith prayer facility on Westwood campus. The University of Warwick has one of the best resourced Islamic Prayer centres in any UK university. Please contact the Chaplaincy directly for further information.
