Biography
Cheryl joined the PGCE teaching team at Warwick in 2005 on a part time / temporary basis and made contributions to the English, Drama and professional programmes. She was appointed as a Senior Teaching Fellow, Course Leader for the English with Drama PGCE in 2010 and also led the mentoring policy for all the PGCE subjects. She worked closely with the Teach First programme during this time and was invited to be the National Mentor Training Consultant. She also supported students on the MA Drama and Theatre in Education course supervising dissertations. She took some time away to commence an ESRC funded doctorate (which she is currently completing) before returning as a Senior Teaching Fellow with ES in 2017 working with the MA Drama and Theatre in Education and the Drama and English Language Teaching.
Cheryl is a member of National Drama (ND) and also a teaching member of the Royal Academy of Dance (RAD).
