Biography

Vaso has a background in Psychology and is a researcher in the field of intellectual and developmental disabilities. She joined the University of Warwick in 2013, moving from a post as a Lecturer in Psychology and Research Tutor at the North Wales Clinical Psychology Programme.
Currently, Vaso is an Associate Professor in a joint post with the Centre for Education Studies (CES) and the Centre for Educational Development, Appraisal and Research (CEDAR).

Vaso is a Chartered Psychologist, an Associate Fellow of the British Psychological Society, and an Associate Fellow of the Higher Education Academy.

She is currently a Senior Associate Editor for the journal Research in Developmental Disabilities and an Associate Editor for Frontiers in Education: Special Educational Needs.
