We are delighted to host the 2nd annual Careers in Education Conference on 28 February.

This year we will be hearing from a wide range of speakers working in education-related careers. They will be telling us about their careers to date, their professions, and offering advice and guidance on career planning, as well as answering your questions. This is a fantastic opportunity to hear more about careers that you may already be interested in, explore options that you may never have considered, and network with specialists in their fields.

Session 1

Imagine a Future You: Improving your Employability

This is the session for you if you would like lots of great practical advice to help you with career planning.

Session 2

Explore Your Options: A Diverse Set of Careers to Get You Inspired

This session will feature speakers working as educational librarians, an educational careers manager, and a HE recruitment agent.

Session 3

Beyond the Stage: Careers in Drama

You will hear from a range of people working in educational drama roles, including a teacher and education manager for a theatre company.

5.15 - 5.55pm

Pizza and informal conversations

You will have the opportunity to chat with some of the speakers in person, and also get careers guidance, and learn more about applying for a PGCE course, becoming a PGR student, or working in educational career coaching roles.

6.00 - 6.55pm

Session 4

Could you be a Future Leader in Education? Hear about Inspirational Careers.

If you are interested in the career journey to becoming an educational leader, join this session to hear about diverse leadership roles.


Session 5

Supporting Children to Reach Their Potential: A Career as an Educational Psychologist

Theodora Theodoratou, Principal Educational Psychologist, Richmond and Wandsworth Council, will talk about her career.

Session 6

Want to Travel the World? Building Cross-Cultural Connections in an International School

We will be joined for this session by professionals working in a range of roles in international schools, including careers and school leadership.
