NQT awards evening 2018, celebrating the successes of our newly qualified teachers
The evening saw the coming together of our EYITT, early years, primary and secondary newly qualified teachers and many of our partner schools. The group also included many of our newly appointed honorary teaching fellows and nominated subject mentors, recognised by their trainees. A total of 12 awards were presented through the evening including our legacy awards, Nesta Howells award for outstanding endeavour and Ann Barnes award for excellence in teaching. It was wonderful that Juliet Amery was able to join us again this year and entertain the audience with her story of courting through the post war years. We also had the absolute pleasure of listening to our keynote speaker Hannah Johnson, one of our own alumni PGCE trainees.
