Carol Walker - Head of Operations

As Head of Operations Carol acts as the senior administrator of the department, with responsibilities spanning the breadth of CTE’s activities. Carol is a member of the Senior Leadership Team and supports the Director in developing and implementing the Centre’s strategy.

Carol leads and line-manages the Centre’s excellent Professional Service staff and has responsibility for overseeing all operational activity to achieve the objectives of the Centre. Operational activity for the Centre includes student services and experience, HR, financial, facilities, business development and continuity, marketing, teaching administration, IT and contracting.

Professional Expertise

Carol joined the University in September 2014 and was a Senior Assistant Registrar in Strategic Planning and Analytics, immediately prior to joining CTE. Carol has worked in regulatory and public sector bodies in a wide range of administrative and managerial roles and has experience in project management, change management, risk-based regulation, and governance.
