Sherine has been involved in education in the West Midlands since 2005. She has an undergraduate in Electronics engineering. After having worked in industry for a year, she completed her Msc in Advanced Photonics and Communication at the University of Warwick. However, it was in her undertaking the PGCE course in Maths teaching at Warwick University that she discovered her passion for Maths teaching. She has leadership experience in and out of school and has led multiple projects around Special Educational Needs, Gifted, Able & Talented and giving youngsters the best chance to succeed in education. She has also volunteered as part of a global, non-profit NGO since 2004.

Sherine currently works as a Teaching Fellow supporting trainees through their initial teacher training year. She has strong working relationships with Professional Mentors and Subject Mentors across the city. Sherine has planned and delivered Maths Subject sessions with previous PGCE cohorts, facilitated Reflective Practice sessions and has been involved in the Warwick in Schools project.

Sherine works through building strong relationships in a collaborative culture. She is passionate about developing highly effective and highly reflective teaching practitioners- supporting trainees to achieve their full potential, with strong Subject Knowledge and Pedagogical Content Knowledge.
