Right to Study

A Right to Study Check is now required to be completed.

Applicants will be asked to prove they have the Right to Study in the UK. Applicants will need to evidence their nationality as per their application form. A passport would be the best way to do this.

If an applicant is British, and they do not have a passport or cannot prove their nationality at interview stage then a condition will be added to their offer, which will ask them to provide both of the following:

    • Birth or Adoption Certificate
    • Official letter or document from a government agency (e.g. HMRC) showing their name and National Insurance Number.
    • Certificate of Registration or Naturalisation for those with British Citizenship

If an applicant is International and they do not have a passport or cannot prove their nationality at the interview stage, then they will be required to evidence their right to study in the UK as a condition of enrolment.

Please see the guidance document for advice on this.

Please ensure you complete the offer form accurately to allow us to add this condition on when required.
