PGCEi on-course information

Welcome to Warwick!

Congratulations on your success in securing a place on the PGCE international programme at the University of Warwick. By completing this programme, you will not only gain an academic teaching qualification, but you will also gain a qualification from an internationally-recognised institution. At Warwick, we are committed to providing full and dedicated support for all of our students.

This introductory video gives a brief overview of student life on the main campus at the University of Warwick.

The programme is delivered by a team of highly qualified, experienced and knowledgeable Teaching Fellows that demonstrate a real passion for their subjects and have a wealth of experience of working in schools. The programme will enable you to develop your professional experience and to develop as a practising teacher with the support of a university tutor and a mentor, based in your locality.

This programme has been designed by the University of Warwick, working with our partners on the ground in different locales, to enrich your studies with a unique blended learning experience. The programme will primarily reference the English National Curriculum and Teachers’ Standards, but it will also look at the comparison with the curriculum used in your schools, enabling you to compare and share best practice.

On this page you will find some helpful information and preparation for the PGCEi programme. Please remember to keep checking this page as it will be regularly updated. If you have any queries please email them to pgcei at warwick dot ac dot uk
