Documentation Required


Qualifications

If you have not already done so, ahead of your interview please urgently upload copies of your High School Qualifications and Degree with any translations (if the certificates are not in English) and any comparability statements that you have from ECCTIS. This will allow the team to assess the equivalency of your qualifications.

If any of the documents/certificates you provide are in a previous name you will also need to send Marriage Certificate/Deed poll (required for any name change)

Please be aware that because you have provided electronic scans of your documents we will need to see the original hard copies at some time in the future, when you are in the UK or on course - therefore please ensure that you bring these documents with you to the UK should you be offered a place on the course.

Fees

As an overseas student the tuition fee is £27,680

You have to pay 50% of the tuition on the first day of the university term with two subsequent payment in January and May.

You will be charges overseas fees if:

  • You are non-UK citizens living outside the UK
  • You are a UK citizen but have not

    lived in the UK within the past three years and have not maintained a residence your fee rate will be detailed in your offer email. If you feel this is incorrect and you can demonstrate you meet the domiciliary , please complete and return the fees questionnaire in your offer email.

Funding

Most non-UK citizens, or those classed as overseas fee payers will not be eligible for financial support from the UK government to help with teacher training.

You cannot get a student loan to pay the tuition fee, and unless you have applied for Secondary Physics or Modern Languages you will not be considered for a bursary.

Bursaries and Scholarships

(Secondary Languages and Physics candidates ONLY)

You will not be eligible for tuition fee funding from the UK government but may be eligible for a bursary OR Scholarship

Please note that you will need to provide a Police Check/Certificate of Good Conduct from your home country and any other that you have resided in for 6 months or more to cover the duration of your time in that country
