Report Published: UK’s future relationship with the EU after Brexit in the areas of police cooperation and judicial cooperation in criminal matters

The European Parliament has recently published a research paper on the future EU-UK relationship in the field of Police Cooperation and Judicial Cooperation in Criminal Matters. Fair Trials research lifts the lid on mistreatment of European citizens subjected to European Arrest Warrant

Fair Trials, the global criminal justice watchdog, is launching tomorrow (June 28, 2018) its regional report on the impact of the misuse of European Arrest Warrants on people’s lives. It is calling for new EU human rights safeguards in order to stem the misuse of the European Arrest Warrant system, the EU’s flagship crimefighting tool, by EU member states.
