About the Event

Join us for a unique opportunity to discuss planning, negotiation and conclusion of investment agreements and development of investment policies ‘from within’. Samira Sulejmanović is the lead negotiator for investment and trade agreements for Bosnia and Herzegovina, as well as a key contributor to developing a unique modern Model Bilateral Investment Treaty for the country. She will speak on the aims, planning, drafting and interpreting of investment treaties and the numerous challenges that follow the process of concluding international treaties in real life.

About the Event

Samira Sulejmanović is the Head of Department for Bilateral Trade Relations at the Ministry of Foreign Trade and Economic Relations of Bosnia and Herzegovina. Samira is an experienced trade and investment expert, with almost three decades of work for various governmental entities in negotiating and monitoring the implementation of trade and investment agreements, developing policy measures and training and lecturing in these areas.
