Process Philosophy and the Law Conference and Workshop
About the Event:
Process philosophies regard change as primary, supplementing this thought with accounts of how apparently fixed categories of reality (such as the self, being and truth) emerge from flux.
Process philosophers have also provided accounts of the emergence of law. In this workshop, participants from will explore process theory and its uses in legal research. Themes will include: the emergence of law, process and international law, and process theories of technology and the environment.
