Warwick Law School is pleased to initiate the Corporate Governance & Insolvency Masterclass. Postgraduate and research students are invited to attend a series of lectures by distinguished international scholars, legal practitioners, and industry professionals. The event will be followed with a drinks reception.
About the Speaker
Tom Powdrill has 25 years of experience researching and working at the intersection of financial markets and social movements. His expertise lies in governance, stewardship, and the social factors that connect companies, investors, and people.
Tom is the Chair of the High Pay Centre, a consultant to asset owners and managers, and the author of The Social Factor on Substack. Tom has led stewardship teams, delivered shareholder engagement programmes, and contributed to several high-profile initiatives, including the development of the UN Principles for Responsible Investment. Tom’s other roles have included Trustee of The Equality Trust and membership on the Workforce Disclosure Initiative Advisory Group and the Committee on Workers’ Capital.
