The First Student Research Celebration 2023

These photos capture Warwick students presenting at our first annual Student Research Celebration, where we combine end-of-year festivities with showcasing outstanding undergraduate and postgraduate work. The inaugural theme, Race and Philosophy, inspired bold, personal, and politically engaged papers. Co-organised by students and faculty with support from the Student Events Fund, the event highlights how philosophy can illuminate urgent social issues. It’s a space where rigorous thought meets lived experience—and where future philosophers emerge: three undergraduate speakers went on to postgraduate study, two in North America.
