National Student Survey for Philosophy finalists now open!
The National Student Survey (NSS) is now open! The survey will close on the 30th April.
This is an important opportunity for our undergraduate finalists to give your opinion, in a national forum, on teaching and learning within our department, and on your overall experience at Warwick. We’ll listen carefully to what you say so that your views can help to shape the future of Philosophy at Warwick.
It only takes 5-10 minutes to complete and, as a thank you for completing it, the University will put £5 on your Eating at Warwick card. In addition, if the department reaches its target for completed surveys, we will hold a prize-draw for our finalists for your chance to win Amazon vouchers!
Special prize draw for an iPad!
If 80% of eligible finalists complete the survey by Tuesday 23rd February, we will give away an iPad (or Windows equivalent if preferred)!

Warwick Student Survey for all Philosophy Non-finalists now open!
The Warwick Student Survey is an internal survey giving the opportunity to all non-finalist undergraduate students (or any undergraduate student ineligible to complete the National Student Survey this year) to submit feedback on your experience of studying philosophy at Warwick so far.
Your feedback allows us to make improvements that could benefit you through the rest of your time at the University and also helps to shape and improve teaching, learning and student support at Warwick for future generations. As a Warwick student, you're an expert on life as a Warwick undergraduate, so your experience and opinions are vital.
To say thank you for taking part, if you complete the survey you will be entered into a prize draw to win your choice of either vouchers to spend on Amazon.co.uk or at your favourite Warwick SU Retail Outlets (Curiositea, the Dirty Duck, Xananas etc). Three prizes will be awarded for the following amounts: 1st prize : £100, 2nd prize: £75, 3rd prize: £50
New UG Marking Criteria
In response to feedback from our students, we have developed a more detailed marking criteria, with philosophy-specific descriptors, which will be used by staff in marking your work. We hope this will help you better understand how we mark your philosophy assignments and what is expected of you: http://www2.warwick.ac.uk/fac/soc/philosophy/undergraduate/exams_essays/marking_scheme/
