European Philosophy and Culture Postgraduate Research Network
The Department of Philosophy is a member of the AHRC postgraduate research network awarded to the University of Dundee. The member departments are:
- Department of Philosophy, University of Dundee
- Department of English Literature, University of Edinburgh
- Department of History and Visual Culture, Goldsmiths College, University of London
- Department of Philosophy, University of Middlesex
The network was set up in 2004 to facilitate exchanges between staff members and postgraduates from the various departments within the network. The network functions by providing funding for postgraduates to travel to one of the other participating departments to take part in workshops and conferences; and also to allow departments to invite visiting speakers and organise workshops around their visits. It is hoped that this will enable postgraduates to benefit from a wider range of specialist supervision and to exchange ideas with postgraduates from other departments.

The grant holder for the network is James Williams (Dundee) and queries regarding the network should be copied to Tim Flanagan (Dundee), secretary to the network.
