To work collaboratively with academic and administrative departments to contribute to the University’s Widening Participation and Fair Access objectives
We will:
Embed a widening participation strategy that enables non-traditional students to access further study opportunities at Warwick
We will achieve this by:
(1) Implementing a departmental Widening Participation Strategy with regular opportunities to review student progress and ensure engagement (2018-19)
We will:
Ensure staff within the department have the opportunity to engage in widening participation and outreach activity
We will achieve this by:
(2) Ensuring that staff engagement with widening participation and outreach activity is recognised within the staff workload model (September 2018)

- To provide the most successful University-delivered International Foundation Programme in the UK
- To work in collaboration with other academic departments to support their international recruitment objectives (diversification of international student cohort, in terms of nationality and disciplinary choice)
- To design, implement and deliver new programmes of study or short courses that enable students to develop the necessary skills and academic competencies required for their future studies at Warwick or elsewhere
