Printing from students' own devices

To print from your own device please:

  • Ensure you are connected to the University's wireless network (which shows as Eduroam or hotspot-secure). You will not be able to access this service via the residences wireless (ResNet) nor via the Warwick Guest wireless service that is not for the use of current students or staff. Equally there is no access over a mobile data connection (i.e. 4G or 5G).
  • Open a browser on your device and visit https://webprint.wbs.ac.uk
  • Login with your WBS username. Typically this will be your University number with 'b' added to the front (to represent the Business School). Be careful. This service will not work if you enter your central university username (the one with a u at the front that represents your 'University-wide' account.



  • Once logged in you will be able to see your remaining Account Balance (this is topped up termly). Click 'Choose File' to upload the document you wish to print. Follow the wizard to select the document.



  • Click the drop down next to the 'Select Printer' option. IMPORTANT. Ensure you select the correct printer or you will not be able to retrieve your printing



  • If you are happy to accept the default options of black/white duplex output you can click the 'Print' button in the bottom right of the interface.
  • If you have more advanced requirements click the 'Set Options' link. Here you can select to print in colour, alter the number of copies or select to print single-sided within the 'Printing Preferences' section. When you are happy with your choices click the 'Print' button.




  • If you are a Masters student or PhD researcher you can retrieve your printing by scanning your university card on the WBS printers located in the PG IT Suite on the ground floor, the PG Grid on the 1st floor or within the PhD areas in the WBS Teaching Centre and room 2.008. If you are an MBA student the jobs will immediately print to the printers on the ground floor of the MBA Teaching Centre.
