Voice recording / dictation machine

We have two types of voice recording / dictation device that can be borrowed by staff for academic, research or administrative work for Warwick Business School. The standard loan period for this device is 5 working days max in term-time and 10 working days out of term. It may be possible to borrow for longer periods depending on demand for the recorder. The recorders are supplied with batteries but it is the responsibility of the borrower to replace these should they run flat during use.

 

Philips DVT1000 - MP3 Digital Voice Recorder

This is an advanced recording device suited for use in conferences, meetings, interviews or similar where the user wants to publish the recordings on my.wbs. Groups who regularly record interviews may consider it more convenient to buy their own. ISSU are happy to give advice on the kind of products that are available.

 


Olympus WS-200S - Digital Voice Recorder

 

Features

This device is well suited for recording interviews or similar for personal use, however it is not suitable for recording to upload to my.wbs as it does not record in .MP3 format. Groups who regularly make recordings may consider it more convenient to buy their own, more advanced recording device.
