2026 Theme: To Know is to Act: Revisiting and rethinking learning and knowing. A process and practice perspective.

In this summer school, we will revisit the shift from learning and knowing as cognitive activities toward learning and knowing as inherently participative, situated and enactive. We will explore related notions of competence and skill development. We will critically discuss the complications and affordances brought in by technological advancements to learning and knowing, and reflect on the implications for organisations and management.

We are excited to welcome Jean Lave, University of California, Erik Rietveld, University of Amsterdam, Callen Anthony, NYU Stern, all of whom have made significant contributions towards a better understanding of organisational change.
