Staying healthy physically, mentally, socially and financially is really important for you to thrive as a student. Please take a look at the support and services both on campus and in the wider community that can help ensure you have the best possible time as a student at University from the Students Union

These include tips from the NHS on eating a balanced diet and cycling in the dark

We will also be running a series of well being themed events which you can register for below.

Spotlight on Wellbeing; Your Mindfulness & Resilience Toolkit

This highly interactive workshop introduces some simple self-help mindfulness, relaxation and stress management techniques to help build life-long skills for good mental health. The session will be delivered by Bill Sheate, who is a registered therapist in private practice based in Central London, specialising in anxiety and stress in higher education (and Emeritus Reader at Imperial College London). He is highly experienced in treating stress and anxiety-related issues, from worry and low self-worth to eco-anxiety and perfectionism. He runs a series of practical resilience skills training workshops for university students, at all levels.

We will be running 4 sessions (repeated) as follows:

  • Tuesday 10th February 1pm - 2pm (In Person, WBS Coventry Campus)
  • Tuesday 10th February 2pm - 3pm (In Person, WBS Coventry Campus)
  • Tuesday 17th February 3pm - 4pm (Online)
  • Tuesday 17th February 5pm - 6pm (Online)
