UTOPIA Innovation Challenge - Companies based Hackathon for students

'Innovation Challenges for students: Discovery week' aims to promote local engagement of students through collaborative partnerships and challenge-based initiatives with stakeholders from public and private sectors to address real problems, taking advantage of the potentialities of creative environments to stimulate cross-disciplinary work.

Students who took part in this challenge, had the chance to be in contact with companies and municipalities which gave them a real-life context experience and work on an entrepreneurial project, together with students from 10 different universities from EUTOPIA Alliance, whereby they had to solve a real problem in one of these fields:

1) Sustainability and Circular Economy Models

2) Cybersecurity strategy for SMEs

3) AI and Health Economics
