Funding for International Activities

Collaborating with international partners often requires funding. There are a range of external and internal funding sources that can bring together the best researchers and educators from across the world.

Some of the key sources of funding are highlighted below.

Internal Funding Opportunities

Our International Partnership Fund pump-primes collaborations with any university across the world. Additionally, we have funding opportunities related to specific partnerships, such as the Monash Warwick AllianceLink opens in a new window, the SJTU-Warwick Joint Seed Fund. Other sources of internal funding for international activities are offered by Research and Impact Services (RIS), the Institute for Advanced Study (IAS), the Global Research Priorities, and the Warwick International Higher Education Academy (WIHEA).

External Funding Opportunities

For ODA opportunities funded by the UK government, this gateway provides a good overview of opportunities. The UKRI now also fund international partners, so their Funding finderLink opens in a new window is another good source.
