Global Partner Scholarships

The International Strategy and Relations team manages the University's strategic partnerships that fund scholarships for international students.

Each year Warwick welcomes over 150 high achieveing-high potential partner scholars who contribute a diverse range of skills, experiences and cultures to the Warwick community.

We partner with external organisations such as the Foreign and Commonwealth Development Office, foreign embassies and governments, employers, foundations and other bodies who provide funding to support the best and brightest international students from around the world to study at Warwick.

These organisations choose to partner with us because Warwick delivers a high quality and supportive, research-led teaching and learning environment for students and offers a dedicated service to the funding body.

This includes:

  • A named first point of contact for all liaison
  • Academic progress reporting on an annual or termly basis
  • Bespoke incoming visits to campus
  • Dedicated events for partner sponsors and their scholars

Chevening Scholarships

Chevening Scholarships enable outstanding emerging leaders from all over the world to pursue one-year master’s degrees in the UK. Last year we welcomed 47 Chevening Scholars to Warwick.

Commonwealth Scholarships

The Commonwealth Scholarship Commission is an executive non-departmental public body, sponsored by the Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office.

British Council - Women in STEM

Since the British Council launched its Women in STEM scholarship programme in 2021, Warwick has been part of the programme working to benefit women from the Americas, South Asia, Southeast Asia, Egypt, Turkey and Ukrain

China Scholarship Council

The China Scholarship Council is China's Ministry of Education body that provides financial support for international academic exchanges and is the primary vehicle through which the Chinese government awards scholarships. The University works in partnership with the China Scholarship Council to co-fund academically excellent candidates pursuing PhD studies at Warwick.
