Warwick India Network Launch Brings Community Together to Shape Future Engagement with India

The University of Warwick celebrated the successful launch of the Warwick India Network (WIN) on Monday 16 March, taking place at the heart of One World Warwick, the University’s celebration of global perspectives, cultural diversity and international collaboration.

More than 100 academic and professional staff and students joined the event to explore and shape Warwick’s growing engagement with India.

The Guild welcomes leading parliamentarians’ clarion call for Europe

On 13 March, MEP Christian Ehler and MEP René Repasi published their draft reports for the European Parliament on the European Commission’s proposals for the Horizon Europe framework programme 2028-34 (FP10). The Guild warmly welcomes their ambition for a reform of FP10 so that it can more effectively and efficiently boost Europe’s scientific leadership, competitiveness and prosperity.

 The University of Warwick has joined forces with a group of ten UK universities and sector organisations to launch the Global Response Platform (GRP), a new, sector-wide approach that will enable higher education institutions to coordinate actions in response to crises affecting students, academics and higher education systems overseas.

Warwick contributes to international Arts PhD symposium in Brussels

The University of Warwick proudly participated in the international symposium “From Experience: The Arts PhD in Practice,” held in Brussels on 5–6 March 2026. The two‑day event was hosted by Arts Platform Brussels, the partnership between the Vrije Universiteit Brussel (VUB) and the Erasmushogeschool Brussel (EhB), and organised in collaboration with the University of Stellenbosch, the University of Gothenburg and the University of Warwick.

Celebrating the Success of EUTOPIA Languages Week

This year’s EUTOPIA Languages Week (2–6 March 2026) proved a vibrant success across the Alliance, with Warwick staff and students actively engaging in a rich programme of language, culture, and multilingualism activities delivered both online and across partner campuses. The week brought together participants from across EUTOPIA universities, creating space for exploration, collaboration, and celebration of linguistic diversity.
