With borders reopening, it’s a good time to strengthen your international links
We are relaunching our international funding schemes for activities starting in the 2022/23 academic year. Our international partnership funds pump-prime international collaborations in research and education, with the view of establishing sustainable partnerships.
International Partnership Fund 2019-20 is now open
We are delighted to invite applications for the latest round of the University's International Partnership Fund. The Fund is intended to encourage partnerships that will lead to the development of important global research collaborations with leading universities and research institutes.
The deadline for applications to be received is Friday 26 April 2019.
Professor Lorenzo Frigerio represents Warwick on a UK delegation to Colombia
Professor Lorenzo Frigerio (Life Sciences) represented Warwick on a UK delegation to Colombia led by Universities UK International (UUKi) in June. The visit aimed to identify and facilitate opportunities for cooperation in teaching, research, postgraduate training and mobility. Alongside a focus on peace-building and transitional justice, the delegation also explored fast-developing opportunities for cooperation in research across the life sciences, social sciences and the arts and humanities. The Colombian Embassy in London then hosted a follow-up meeting in July (photo above). You can see a short film about the visit produced by the British Council here.
Warwick delegation in China
An academic delegation led by Academic Vice-President, Prof. Lawrence Young, visited Shanghai on 18-19 May 2017 in order to broaden and deepen Warwick's research and teaching links with university partners.
Warwick launches Global Partnership Fund
Global Partnership Fund 2017-18
The University’s partnership funds have supported collaborations across the globe in key developed and emerging research economies including Indonesia, China, India, USA and Singapore. They are intended to encourage partnerships that will lead to the development of important global research collaborations.
Applications for 2017-18 open on 11 February and will close on 3 April 2017.
Eligible applications will be reviewed by an academic panel chaired by Professor Lawrence Young. Awards will be made up to the value of £5000 per year for up to two years (2017-18 and 2018-19), and first year funds have to be spent before 31 July 2018.
