How recruiters can support neurodiverse candidates

- Export as iCalendar
Location: Teams

It is estimated that 15% of the population are neurodiverse, yet only a small portion of them are in full-time employment[1]. Neurodiverse individuals can face barriers not experienced by their neurotypical counterparts, meaning it can be difficult to secure or maintain a job. There is an untapped market of neurodiverse people who want to work and with accommodations can be welcomed into the workforce in a meaningful and sustainable way.

Creating an inclusive, diverse and supportive workplace is a goal for every organisation. Diversity leads to innovation and neurodiverse individuals bring their own unique strengths to the workplace.

Inclusion starts during the hiring process. There are a range of adaptations that can be made during advertising, in the application process and interviews to accommodate neurodiverse candidates. Ensuring you are seeing them at their best and not excluding them from the process.

jobs.ac.uk have gathered a panel of experts to discuss how you as a recruiter can support neurodiverse candidates.

During this exclusive webinar you will

  • Learn what is neurodiversity,
  • Become aware of the challenges neurodiverse candidates might face,
