How do I use this calendar?

You can click on an event to display further information about it.

The toolbar above the calendar has buttons to view different events. Use the left and right arrow icons to view events in the past and future. The button inbetween returns you to today's view. The button to the right of this shows a mini-calendar to let you quickly jump to any date.

The dropdown box on the right allows you to see a different view of the calendar, such as an agenda or a termly view.

If this calendar has tags, you can use the labelled checkboxes at the top of the page to select just the tags you wish to view, and then click "Show selected". The calendar will be redisplayed with just the events related to these tags, making it easier to find what you're looking for.

Biodiversity Walk – Bird Watching
Meeting point: outside Sports and Wellness Hub

On our next Biodiversity Walk, we will be bird watching! The event will take place between 9-10am on Wednesday 10th of April 2024, and we will be looking around Lakeside to see what we can spot. Meeting point is outside the Sports and Wellness Hub.

Please wear suitable shoes as it may be muddy and bring along binoculars if you have them. You can also download the Merlin Bird ID appLink opens in a new windowLink opens in a new window, which is brilliant for identifying bird species by sound or image.

iNaturalist Training Event – City Nature Challenge

Do you live in Coventry or Warwickshire and enjoy spending time in nature? If so, the City Nature ChallengeLink opens in a new windowLink opens in a new window is the perfect event for you! There are a number of activities taking place across the region, including those below on campus, and we’d love for you to get involved.

Training event - prior to City Nature Challenge:

Staff from the Coventry City Council Ecology team and the Warwickshire Wildlife Trust will be joining us at the following iNaturalist training event:

  • Wednesday 10th April - 1-2pm in FAB3.31. This session will show you how to use the iNaturalist app through a short presentation, before heading outside to have a try. This takes place ahead of the City Nature Challenge. If you already know how to use the app, you are still very welcome to join us.
